  • For Hegner Scroll Saw Owners

I just received and installed a QuickLever clamp handle from Mike's Workshop.

I believe it is a very good product especially for, should I say, more mature

scrollers. For anyone that suffers from arthritis or weakness in their hands

this is a great product. One of the great features is after you tighten the

clamp on the blade you can adjust the handle to any position you like.

For doing fretwork you are bound to have less soreness or fatique.

I'm giving the QuickLever a up.

I agree Al. I have been using the Quick Lever for many years and like it.

Bought the lever from Mike a year ago and was very happy with the ease of using it, but I ran into a problem with blades breaking at the top. Oh yea I use a Hegner. Well long story short I was cranking the lever way to much which put a small indintation from the lever screw which in turn weakened that part of the blade. Since then I have went back to Hegner's original silver round knob. Works great and doesn't need much cranking power.
