  • Magnifier/Light

OK, I have finally accepted that I am , indeed, getting older and parts of me don't work as well as they used to. Being further irritated by the fact that I have to stop and wipe the tears from my eyes after focusing on my blade for long periods of time, I have decided a magnifier/light is warranted.
Free standing or saw mounted would be my preference, but would like any feedback you have ...price, merchant etc. What works for you ?

Robert I purchased this and it works wonderfully for me. I had it mounted on my first saw and now it's on my Dewalt. I just had to modify my stand a little, but wouldn't be with out it. I can easily swing it out of my way when I choose not to use it. While your checking out the site, type in H3106 in the upper search bar and that will take you to another option. I would of went with this if my shop space had allowed it.

I saw a "practice pattern" to learn how to operate my saw. I decided to print out what I thought was a fairly simple pattern that would cover all the cuts and possibly have something at the end. Please tell me that the pattern lines are really just suggestions. Improvisation is acceptable....

Those are great! I would be interested in seeing how you box them.

BTW, Everclear is banned in some states but still available in others. I also recently saw another brand of 190 proof at the local ABC store here in Gibsonville, NC. (I did a quick Google and found the brand is Diesel)

Totally agree for one project. I think that this is where my ADHD brain helps. I usually end up with numerous project waiting finish. When the weather is right I take them outside and spray. The water based poly is nice because cleanup is little more than running warm water through the spray un...
