  • Sanding disk on belt-disk sander keep on unsticking

Tired that the sanding disk on my belt-disk sander that keeps on unsticking from the metal disk. It even happens that the disk went like a flying saucer. I have been lucky not being in its path.

I came up with this trick:
I used my heatgun and warmed the metal disk plate then stuck the sanding disk on it. Never had any problem anymore. Now I can go on and work on my intarsia project.

I have made a number of those Harvey puzzles. They are a lot of fun. You really need to be patient and let the blade cut. Even the slightest pressure can ruin your puzzle piece fit. My go to is a Pegas #3 MGT....
