Right now the motor went, and am looking for a replacement, that would suffice and not to expensive. This unit weighs a ton...would cost a lot to ship. Bob -
Saw from the past
I have volunteered to show scrolling techniques at our local middle school.
Mike from #M does this too.
I know funding is always low for shoptools
Maybe they could use one along with some instruction.
Not that shop teachers don't know how to scroll, it is just that many don't have the experience to do some of the finer things.
They could always use a hand anyway.Leave a comment:

Rockwell Delta Homecraft Scrollsaw
Does anyone have an opinion on what to do with saw.It is a rigid arm type with belt and motor underneath. It is like from the shop days at school. It does break a lot of blades...I wonder if it is a museum piece...at least a nostalgia trip. (I haven't used this saw for a long time since I've upgraded) Just don't know what to do with it? Any thoughts on this?Lonepine.

Reply to So Boredby jim_mexHi Dan - as a normally very active individual who has been in a similar position to yourself on a couple of occasions, including sleeping upright in a rocking chair for several nights whilst wearing a restrictively uncomfortable body brace and sling, I can only echo the comments of others. Patience...
