I an using paints tape to cover my puzzle blank before applying the pattern. I am concerned about residue being left over. What tape do you guys recommend?

I use the blue tape. -
I have never personally used it, but yellow Frog tape is advertised for delicate surfaces. I take that to mean low tack.Jim

3M painter's tape does not leave a residue.Comment

Depending on the size of the puzzle/ project I now use Duck brand clear removable shelf liner. I used to use Contact brand paper but Charles Hand had pointed out that they changed their adhesive. Love the duck brand.

I bought the 3M product from Lowe’s. When that ran out, I bought cheap stuff from Amazon. Works fine with no residue.Denny

I mentioned I use blue tape and the brand is Frog Tape. But most of my stuff is puzzles and Intarsia. If I was doing fretwork, I might use the more gentle yellow tape.Comment
