My puzzle is made from the poster of the artist Haruyo Morita.

    Size - 42x28 cm
    300 pieces

I created figurals based on Japanese characters. I painted the figurals with a water stain of the same color but different concentration for greater expressiveness.
One of the details of being a dragon cut through, I can say the "negative" part. Its elements are so thin that plywood does not provide sufficient strength. So this is a through slot in the puzzle.

WOW! I am blown away -that is a magnificent puzzle. On another note- I stepped away from making puzzles for about 8 years. I am just getting back into it. I am wondering, whatever happened to Carter Johnson? He was my mentor back when I was learning. Thanks so much, and now back to this puzzle- I am suffering from Jigsaw envy! Mike

Sad to say but Carter passed away at the end of 2017. He left a real impact on the puzzle world. I still have one of his stamp puzzles in my workshop.

Thanks Rolf, that is sad. Carter was a very generous and giving person. I am so glad I was lucky enough to interact with him on these message boards. I owe him so much.

I agree, I know he changed my view about cutting puzzles.
