Questions Answered:

Dimensions: ~4" tall x 8" long x 3/4" thick. Soft maple. Base is stained. Red is food coloring sealed with lacquer.

My Design: Yes and No. I merged several existing things I saw into the final product. So it is unique. There is not an exact duplicate out there in the puzzle world. But certainly not original in the true sense of the word. It was like taking parts of a Chevrolet, BWM, Ford Mustang, and Cadillac, and coming up with a hybrid design. I went through 2 cuttings to get it to hang together and then decided to put it in a base for even more stability.

I took this puzzle to my first craft show of the Spring in Fairhope, AL. It was a hit and I sold all I took at $22 a pop.
