    here's a couple of puzzles i've finished...

    rabbit is cut from red oak, using a #3 FD-UR blade, finished with butcher block (child safe) mineral oil

    horse was modified from the usual 8 piece puzzle, down to a 4 piece puzzle, cut from poplar, using a #3 FD-UR blade, finished with butcher block (child safe) mineral oil as well

      Those look to be very kid friendly puzzles. Good job on the thoughtful finish.

          thanx folks…i did get advice on the finishing oil, before i did these…extra thanx to those peoples….yes, they are for one of our horse trainers kinfolk, i think around age 1 or so….mike, i’ll have a few more things/stuff posted hopefully in next day or so….problem is, i think my custom calls are about to stop for a bit…i do have, well, wife has, a horse clinic coming up in june, so i’m gonna do a lil horse oriented stuff for that….then from there, i’ll probally start on Christmas stuff, and get ready for my first show, this time next year….oh, and i’ll continue with the custom calls….ok, that’s my long breath for now….got to get back to 'making mo’ dust'
