Well, yes it is, now that you mention it. That actually started to break, but i caught it in time, hit it with a touch of wood glue and the repair was completely invisible. The glue actually reinforced the piece so it's not it's not so fragile.
Cool. I just bought 1/4" Birch plywood from Lowe's tonight and plan to make this design for my first project. All of their wood is slightly warped, but from the old threads I read, the warp often goes away once you cut the wood (stress is removed - wood can move).
