  • Car and Trailer Stand Up Puzzle

Happen to see that old Lucy Desi movie where they take a trip hauling along a trailer. Well, I thought the idea might make an interesting stand up puzzle. The trailer is a lot smaller here and you won't be able to take a trip anywhere with it, but it might be fun for you to cut.
I came upon an old bureau along the side of the road, much of it made from oak and a lot of it nicely laminated, so I took it home with me and cut it up into pieces. So I used some of this to cut this project. Good use of recycled wood.
Hope you enjoy working with the pattern
    Best.

Al, I love your 'drive.' You are so kind to make these simple and fun projects for all of us to try. My grandson and my office matie's kids love what you do; and, what I do because of you.

      Thanks bunches, guy!

Well, yesterday, I shot my 18 in the morning. The grands came over and I got one of em to try it out. I had to demonstrate so I got another 12 or so in. Last night I finished up with 90 for the day. Going to challenge myself to one hundred arrows a day for one hundred days. Made an excel spreadsheet...

For me to write something like this with my woodburner, even with the fine ball tip pens, is just not possible for me. The variations in the wood grain really complicate things.

A few weeks ago Elliott was looking around and saw a bow and arrows in the rafters in the basement. PopPop I didn’t know you had a bow and arrow. I don’t. It’s Mimi’s. Been a long time since I used it. Maybe I should get it out again.
