This is one of my 'experimental' puzzles made from fabric. I have no idea if the music is real or even makes sense. I suppose she'll tell me before too long.

I found these figurals on Google some years ago. They are not mine and I do not know who may have made them originally.

Wow. I have been wanting to do a fabric design I saw when shopping with my wife for one of my grandchildren. You have inspired me to get on it after I get through the holiday season.

Great puzzle and looks to be a tough one. Did you use the actual fabric in the puzzle or did you scan and print?

Mike, I have made about a 1/2 dozen puzzles using the actual fabric. It's thicker than any of the paper copies I have tried to make and I like the idea of using the fabric as a medium. I think I have the formula down now. I have had some trouble with 'bleed through' on the glue I use. Looks like I have that solved. Should be able to make some pretty fun puzzles this year.

The interesting comment by my wife on the 'difficulty level' of this puzzle was that she believed it would be relatively easy to put together since most of the pieces were so unique. I would not have thought about it that way but she could have a point. I'll find out after I hear back from daughter.

Joe, I will have to look up 'par puzzle' about those figurals. I am not a drawing type person and have to use patterns for small things like that.

That is a wonderful idea. What do you use to glue down the fabric? Do you put a backing on it first or is it directly glued to the wood?

is doing great in therapy. His range of motion is about 3 weeks ahead of where they expected him to be. He has zero strength in his hand or arm. He tried to grate some cheese, and he couldn’t hold the grater. The doctor had to do repair stitching on the muscle and that will take the longest to heal....

When we started out, it was 45 deg and rain. When we got there it was 44 deg and rain. By the time we left it stopped raining but was 42 deg. and windy. Luckily we are under cover but that doesn’t stop the wind. I sold 4 baskets, Sealife puzzle and a few other things. I moved the coffee grinders...
