  • 2 new puzzles finished

One is an 8X10 of the planets in our solar system. The other is 4X6 and is a Christmas card. Didn't count the pieces yet.
Thanks for checking it out and for any comments or suggestions.

    Great work, Bubba!

I like the celestial one the most. One of the really cool things about having a lot of black in a puzzle it that it really shows off the kerf. Sometimes you can have a lot of fun with that by making wild cutting styles and shapes.

    Very nice!

Nice. Love those planets. I plan to make puzzles out of my own astrophotographs.

Shawn, I'm not very imaginative. I just cut and try to make sure that my pieces interlock with each other while trying to keep the size of the pieces relative. I don't do puzzles as often as I do other types of scrolling so I'm not very accomplished at it. I just find it to be very enjoyable and a good way to make some unique gifts.

Good stuff - and a very unique style of cutting.

Bubba - everything looks great. As you get more comfortable with puzzles, more experimental stuff might happen - but quite frankly, it isn't better. It's just different. A lot of puzzle assemblers like normal puzzles, just like the ones you are cutting. It's a rarer breed that likes the different stuff.

                    Keep on doing!

Nice job on the puzzles! Your pieces are nice and uniform, mine seem to vary quite a bit in size, LOL. I like both of them, can't pick a favorite.

Really nice cutting Bubba. I also love the solar system one. By the way, I made several oven pulls from your vault patterns and I sold a bunch of them (the oven pulls, not the patterns) at a show last weekend, after I explained to people what they are use for. Thanks for letting us use the patterns.

I'm glad to hear you got some use from my patterns, George. I've never sold even one of my oven pulls. Maybe I should start trying to sell some of my stuff to fund my ministry but for me that would take all the fun out of it. LOL
