Nice job. You're right, it will be tough because of the the background being so uniform but the figurals will make it fair.

very nice .....as far as the continuity goes......what happens within the borders, stays within the borders!!!....LOL......it's a hand crafted puzzle, who cares!!!!......great job

Bob,
I find I have that same problem of continuity sometimes when I try a new cutting style.
I think you did a bang up job.

Very, very good work, Bob. Looks like it really locks together. I agree that the difficulty for the assembler will come from the scene itself. The figurals, which are great, will help.

Wooded Path
I am just finishing this up for a friend who has created a personal retreat during his retirement. I tried a different style of cut but must admit it did not seem to flow from piece to piece so although the puzzle will work for him it is not one of my favorites. The wild turkey, doe and rabbit figurals are typical animals he sees while walking. There are a total of 250 pieces but dispite the figurals and my signature piece the puzzle should be moderately hard because the background is similar over the whole puzzle.

Reply to Bigger Projectsby Chance13I have a 20" Delta that I made Judy''s "Hidden Forest" with. Took me all of 9 months of trying to find the right wood, etc.
You could use a 16" saw as you can break down the pattern and pieces into smaller sections.
I won a best of show ribbon with it.

Reply to Just playing!by BadBobI found these in an old scroll saw magazine a couple of years ago. Sorry, I can't tell you any better than that. It occurs to me that I should start documenting the source of my patterns.Yesterday, 08:05 AM
