I know “Viking on a Stick” is a batter dipped and deep fried meat ball on a stick. This delicacy is served at Scandinavian heritage festivals and fairs. I ate my first one at a festival in Montana.
As a Nordic craftsman, I couldn’t help but visualize a little wooden Viking on a stick, so I designed one.
This little desktop pillager is 6” tall and carries a 2” shield and battle ax. Will stand alone off stick, shield and battle ax are removable.
He is a simple four piece puzzle made of sugar pine. His shield, ax, base and stick are made of hardwood. The wood is dyed and then finished with tung oil.
This is an adult toy or stress reliever, not appropriate as a child’s toy because of small parts.
