That's a really nice looking puzzle. What type of blade/ speed of cut did you use? Could you provide some insight for others to try and cut something similar. Acrylic is tricky as it melts quickly.

Here is the US most of us get our blades online as well. Scroll saw blades are not an item most stores carry here either. Most of the better blades like Flying Dutchman and Pegas are made in Europe (Germany and Switzerland respectfully). I do believe that the same company that makes Flying Dutchman...

You are putting masking tape directly on the photo? That is a very strong adhesive. There are photo spray adhesives where you put a light coating on the back of the pattern let the spray dry before putting your pattern on. That makes it removable.
Or you could protect the picture with paper and...

I think I would use pressure and more time for the PVA to cure. Put a clean board on top of the mounted print and and apply weight or even clamping. I would wait 5 or 6 hours....

Just for information. FD Superior Puzzle blades are 0.023 wide, 0.008 thick, and 31tpi. Pegas has a 2/0 Skip blade 0.0236 wide, 0.0087 thick, and 28.2 tpi which is not a reverse. My price is $2.70 per pack/12

Crown tooth blades cut in both the up and down stoke. You can't do that with picture puzzles. You don't want to use a crown or two way cut or even a reverse tooth blade. Get some Flying Dutchman Superior Puzzle blades and you will be fine. Trust me I have been at this 20 years and no I do not work...

So far I have tried 2 main ways:
    1. -Use PVA to glue my photo, leave pressure on for 30minutes
-Spray photo with 3 coats of matt varnish
    -Cover with masking tape
    -Glue template on and cut
    2. -Use spray adhesive
    -next steps are the same

    I think I have...

For things like that I use a Flying Dutchman puzzle blade. It is designed for puzzles like that. What blade are you using? My process for making picture puzzles is:
    - Print the photo
    - I spray the back of the photo and the wood with 3M Super 77 adhesive. Allow to dry 10-15 minutes. ...
