  • Starting my sales season

I sell at our local Farmers Market, most Saturdays, and it only runs from June to October. Boxes on display Aug 15 2015.jpg My first sale this year was June first and my gross sales was right at my last years average, although I sold only two of my boxes. I sold lots of toys though. The second sale I brought more toys. Sold few but I did sell ten of my boxes. (Fathers day shoppers) Gross sales was better at this second sale. Great weather at both sales. I am guessing that we have close to 1000 shoppers there but they are mostly buying food. I have been doing this market for nine years now. This is year ten. I have sold over 2000 boxes over that time. I do not keep count of the toys. The first year all I sold were toys.

Third sale, today, was even better. About 15% more than last week. I think this was because tomorrow is Fathers Day and most of my sales are for gifts.
