I'm sure some of you have made that suspended wine bottle holder from issue 31 (summer 2008). I just made my first one and have several people interested. Any suggestions on price? I used maple and walnut for mine. Thanks.

I never go below the 15-20 $ range. Don't sell yourself short. Besides it gets rid of the yard salers that think everything should be freeMay the wind at you back .....

Thank you. I was initially thinking somewhere in the 30 dollar range but wasn't sure. I'm in NY where everything is expensive so I think I will go with 35.00.
Oily, one thing I always try to avoid is selling myself short. I'd rather not make a sale than sell something too cheap. By the way, I hope you're feeling better.

The less intricate ones, just a slab of wood I get $18.00--- for that one I get $35.00. You did a nice job on it by the way."Still Montana Mike"

Thank you all again for your comments.
Carole, I already posted the 35.00 price and people have seen it so I can't change it at this point but I like your idea of 40 or two for 75. Too bad I didn't see your post beforehand.
Rolf, yeah I'll bring it Thursday. But it's going to pale in comparison to something else I just finished and will be bringing Thursday.

I have made quite a few of these, in fact, many just like the one pictured. I sell them for 25 dollars each. I've never had the price questioned. In my area I think that's a fair price.

Reply to What do you think?by vgrafI have a VacuFlo system for my house. It might have enough suction for a small table saw but not for the large cabinet makers saw like you have.
Like the others have said, your Walvac might work fine for smaller tools, especially for a hand sander.
The VacuFlo actually uses...-

Reply to What do you think? For something like a table saw the volume of air moved is much more important than whether a good vacuum is produced....
