  • Christmas Ornament Display for Events

Well I signed up for my first real craft show and I was wondering what the best way to display ornaments is? The show is going to be just on 10ft. tables. I plan to take just mostly ornaments unless I have a lot more room than I think, then I will take more of a variety.

Anyway I have about a month to figure out how to set up my display so I thought I would ask for some suggestions..

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you could offer..Pictures would be great too, lol

Kevin, If you look at an idea for booth by sappy in the info exchange you'll see a good setup. You want as many at eye livel as you can . Hope this helps,Lance

I once fashioned two posts (2'x2') and clamped them to the ends of the table. Then strung some small chain between them and hung ornaments on the chain. They were easily seen and seemed to help sell. Silver Sliver

After you are done "holding" it do you "fold" it? <smile>

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Not sure yet what I will come up with but it will have to be something that will fit on top of my table as they are only allowing table space only. I think I might try something that I can clamp to the table and then that will allow me to still have my table space for other things..

Hey Kevin, Here is a rack I made for the mini birdhouse ornaments and the gift card holders. Placed on the front of the table, the ornaments are at eye level. Made from 1x2 ceder and 1x6 oak. The rails are attached to the stiles with screws and fit into the base in mortice's and then screwed. I used brass cup hooks to hold the string of the ornaments. I used clamps to clamp to the table. With the ornaments at eye level, they will be more noticeable!
