  • Packaging idea???

Because I have had so many positive comments about the 3D ornaments I have made for myself I decided to cut some for a couple up coming craft fairs. These are the Diane Thomas designs. The designs called for 1 1/2" stock but I reduced them by 1/3 to fit on 1" stock. They are delicate.

I have no issues getting them to the event. How would you package them for a customer to take away? I do not want them to break.

How about a picture so we can see what you are dealing with.
This is an outfit that I buy all of my ornament boxes from. They may have something that fits your needs. We think putting my ornaments in nice boxes made a significant difference in our sales.

I either use a bit of tissue paper or just a small lunch brown paper bag.

I agree with Janette. I wrap everything that is fragile in tissue paper I get at the dollar store. The just give them a plastic "T" bag. I save these from my local stores and re-use them, customers appreciate the recycling and a few have said so.

Thanks for the link Rolf. I usually use a T bag from the supermarket or the clear ones from the veggie department. Recycling is always a plus.

Well, yesterday, I shot my 18 in the morning. The grands came over and I got one of em to try it out. I had to demonstrate so I got another 12 or so in. Last night I finished up with 90 for the day. Going to challenge myself to one hundred arrows a day for one hundred days. Made an excel spreadsheet...

For me to write something like this with my woodburner, even with the fine ball tip pens, is just not possible for me. The variations in the wood grain really complicate things.

A few weeks ago Elliott was looking around and saw a bow and arrows in the rafters in the basement. PopPop I didn’t know you had a bow and arrow. I don’t. It’s Mimi’s. Been a long time since I used it. Maybe I should get it out again.
