I was talking to friend today and the subject of online sales came up and I looked over this years and last years records and noticed a trend. Since I have moved to Montana. I have only had, in about 18 months, 3 sales ship west of the Mississippi. All of my shipments have gone to the east coast with a few to the mid-west. I'm not counting any of my international shipments.

Do you suppose it is because folks on the east coast and especially the upper east coast are enamored with purchasing items from the west?

Do those of you who sell online or ship your products see the same thing if you are on the east coast, do you sell more to west coasters?

Do others who sell online and are on the west coast find you sell more to the east coast?

I'd be interested in hearing back from you as to what your sales tends may be.

Do you keep track of where you ship your items?

Well mike, So far I have only had one online sale and it went to Florida. I am in California. but I don't think the customer knew Where I live, so I guess I am of no help to you.

Well we can say that 100% of your sales have gone across country so my theory is still intact.....LOL

The only shipments I have had are to the East .

Most of my sales have gone to the east too but I have had some from the west. So far this fall I am not getting very many USA sales. But shipping stuff about everywhere else, LOL.. and that is a pain to deal with all the customs forms etc. But without them other countries I wouldn't have sold much in Sept.
