    A birthday present from a grandpa to a granddaughter. I was fun to make and even more to see the appreciation in the eyes of the recipient, who works with wood professionally, was so great. He really could appreciate the work that went into it, the intricacies of the scrolling and sanding and he commented on it. That alone was a great delight to me and a great personal compensation.


    Pattern by Judy Gale Roberts, I added some word art. Wenge, poplar, tigerwood, mahogany, walnut, cedar, maple dowels, purpleheart.
