    I finally finished Iron Man..
the woods I used are Blinga, yellow heart and Purple Heart.
Iron man measures 18 inches wide and 27 inches long..
The first picture is him hanging on the wall in the shop, the second picture is outside showing the real color of the wood..
I just wish that knot in the right leg wasn’t there, other than that he looks great...

Looks good to me. The knot just looks like shading on the leg to me.

Very cool! And if you hadn't mentioned the knot, I wouldn't have had to enlarge the picture to hunt for it. It's perfect.

Looks great - and who cares how long it took - time well spent - excellent and I am sure your grandson will love it. Thanks for showing.

          Reply to Pegas Blade Chuck?
Hmm, I read on another message board that the thumb screws are the same size.. and they said they used their screws they had from their old clamp because they had bought some special steel ones with a knurled knob.. so I guess I would assume the screws would work.. then I also read where the only difference...

          Reply to Pegas Blade Chuck?
I called suppliers of the Pegas blade holder and none of them could answer if parts were available.I asked mainly for the tip replacement on the thumb screw.

Reply to Lowes Picking up Craftsman Hand Tools
I was never a fan of Craftsman power tools. I always though they were for "homeowner duty" and for most normal usage they are great. For heavy duty usage I go with higher end brands. My dad was a big fan. The only Craftsman tools I used heavily and still do are the mechanical ones, wrenches...
