  • guitars?

Some years ago there was an intarsia pattern of a group of guitars in a circle - anyone know which issue it was in? I actually only need 1 guitar, so if that pattern isn't available, does anyone know of a single guitar?
    thanks -

Hi Theresa. I was sure I had seen this pattern before but not sure where. I remembered it because I recalled thinking how cool it was and how the guitar players in my family would go crazy for it. So I went searching to see if I could find where I had seen it before. If this is the one you were thinking of, it is by Don Eklund and is in Issue 45 of SSW&C - which is the 2011 Holiday edition - starting page 74. The pattern is in the "pullout" section. If you have the old copies of the magazines going back that far, you should have it. I am relatively new to the saw and Intarsia work in the past year, so I didn't have but a couple of older copies I had bought on the newsstand over the years so I had ordered all of SSW&C's CDs. If you have those, it is on CD4. After a little googling around, I saw a reference to it and pulled out my CD to check and was pretty sure this was what you were looking for and took this screen capture of the image to see if this is what you were talking about.

Not sure why image is not showing in post above. I just see the little box with ? mark in it - if I click on that the image shows - I'm trying again to repost here so you don't have to do that.

Edited to add - well for some reason today it is now showing looks like.

This is the one I was thinking of - thank you. I didn't have the magazine, so ended up making my own pattern.
