WOW! Great job on the boot. Never would have guessed it was your first."Orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They're easier to ignore before you see their faces. It's easier to pretend they're not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes."

Thank you....I really enjoyed doing it. Had to give up my first scrollsaw though. Had a dremel and first the on/off switch quit working. Then I broke off the metel arm that holds the saw blade. No fun there. So I went out and got myself a delta. I like it much better and hope I don't have any trouble with it.

Wow! You all sure know how to make a girl feel good! I have always loved wood and wanted to work with it. I have finally started. I am also starting to carve. I spend hours each day downstairs with my wood. I find it so very peacefull. I love the feel of it and finding all the wonderfull colours in it. Have any of you ever worked with chokecherry? you can't get any really large pieces baaut the colours are great.

It would be truly helpful if all publications were to clearly state on each pattern "enlarge pattern by x% for full size" or something like that which would clue the user in. But I'm like Rolf....I change the size of every pattern to get what I want.

by RolfI agree with you Mark, I am constantly changing or adapting my patterns to suit my taste or the size of the wood that is available to me. Thinking about electronic versions of the patterns, that would be great. But very hard to control. It amazes me how many people have no scruples about sharing....

Reply to Peanuts #1by RolfBruce I just looked up the Pegas blade and the Flying Dutchman puzzle blade.
Pegas TPI 28.2 Thickness .087" Width .0236"
FD TPI 31 Thickness .08 Width.023
So the Flying Dutchman is a bit thinner , not sure it would make a significant difference. Three teeth per...-

by Quartz43Perhaps, we could hear from Fox. Maybe they could try some things and see if it makes things better. Or, they can just keep doing the things the same way.
