I wanted to let you all know that we lost a fellow intarsia member last night. Bill (IntarsiaBill) or you might also know him as "Redroc" passed away last night. He did beautiful work and will be greatly missed.

This is a total shock! My condolences as well. God has his reasons they say, but it is sure hard to understand what those reasons are, but we must have faith in his plan. Dale

I'm sure he was as wonderful a man as he was an artist. What a shock. I just saw his post yesterday wishing Toni a happy birthday! Condolences to the family.

First off how thick is the board you cut?
When I want something to stand out I use backer-boards 1/8 thick to get the depth.
that means you would have to cut the big cutting into pieces to put the spacer behind.
for instance the cloud bottom right which his hand is on I would put maybe...

I am stunned at the fact it wasn't rotted or termite destroyed. That must've been one blessed lady. Thank you for what you all are doing!

However, I do enjoy some of the reviews and other articles---as well as checking out techniques of others. I debated as well, but decided to renew. Now I just...
