  • Pink elephant

Looking through some old scrollsaw mags I came across a pig money box
project, the hole for the coins to be released from is under the belly of the pig, and is only 1" in diameter I didn't realise at the time of making the box that the hole is not big enough for all british coins to pass through, I couldn't make the hole any bigger because of the small space between the two sides. so I hit on the idea of making the hole in the side of the project, and putting a knob on the outside, as can be seen in the cat project. If no one has not seen a pink elephant before, your'e looking at one now. I made the cat before for a friend which was originally ment to be a pin cushion, but thought it would make a novelty monety box for the kids

    Harry.

Nice way to improvise on some patterns. A little something for everyone to enjoy.
