  • Ryan's First Project

My grandson, Ryan, who's visiting this week spent some time in the shop with me and made his very first segmentation project. He made a lot of small scraps from big ones and then learned to sand them into shape before he cut this dolphin. He did most of the work himself.

What a pleasure to see a kid interested in something besides computer games! He did a super job on a first project. I'm sure we're all hoping to see a second and a third!

Ryan says to thank everyone for all the nice comments. He's quite excited about them. WD, he has goggles, but took them off for the pictures. He says he looks "funny" with them on. He fussed a bit about wearing the mask for pictures, but he wasn't given a choice there since he was actually grinding wood. Thanks from me for all the nice comments too.
