hey Cathy, as for the woods, I used mahogany and maple for the cat and black walnut for the puppy....

I have to say this pattern came out right at the perfect time!
the day after Christmas our 1 year old dog started getting sick and stopped eating, after 2 visits to the vet they determined that he eat something that he couldn't pass so they had to open him up to get what ever it was out. he got to the point where we almost lost him....

they couldn't figure out what it was so I brought it home and cut it in half with my scroll saw and come to find out it was a pine cone.....

$3,000 later he's back to his Rowdy self!!

he gets the stitches out on the 18th and that's when I'll be giving the clinic the portraits. they look great the way they are so I'm not going to frame them..

            thanks for looking

Poor baby! Give Rowdy a big hug from me!
I hope he has learned his lesson and will stay away from inedibles from now on.

Rowdy got his stitches out today and the Vet clinic was thrilled with the portraits....

yesterday was our first day of obedience training and Rowdy was teaching me the proper way to give treats....

                            Glad things worked out.

I just updated my older PC. The hard drive was 500 gb and eight years old. I cloned it to a one TB SSD (solid state drive). Put the cloned drive in and worked perfectly with all my old programs. The computer is now much faster. The new drive was about $100 and...

Once upon a time ( in the 70's) i attempted bow hunting. I believe the bow had a 45 pound draw. I quickly learned that it was not for me. It takes lot of hard work and practice just to be fair at it. Good is a whole different level. I hope you do better than I did.

So glad you are back up and running. You will be awed by the speed of your new drive, fresh drivers, and cleaned up files. Spring housecleaning!
