Hello.....Caught a nice one from the neighbours tropical fishtank.....A 23 cm or a 9 inch clownfish.....Made from Meranti, Ash, Silver birch and Oak......

by NC ScrollerEbony is a black wood though it is hard to find and very expensive. For round eyes l have taken pieces of dowel and rounded them on a sanding wheel. When I get the shape that I want I stain them with ebony stain.

Reply to Vintage scroll saw identificationby HobbyhorseIn 1954 I had one similar to that which had a spring return in the top arm for blade tension. It was set up on a bench for me by my father and had a treadle system to run it ..... I have no memory of the brand of machine.
