  • A question for any clock makers ref. clock parts

Hi - I wasn't quite sure where to post this question but here goes.

I'm looking for advice on where to buy parts for a clock I am thinking of making.

I'll be scrolling a segmentation design about 12 - 14 " diam and I'm looking for info on where to buy a quartz clock movement insert running on AA battery which must have continuous sweep and at least a 3/4" spindle length plus minute hands of 7 - 8 " length from the spindle center hole.

At the moment I'm looking at clockparts.com but their hand sets are not to my liking and a little expensive.

Can anyone recommend other manufacturers to check out please.

    Thanks

    Jim

Thanks guys - both sites seem to have a much broader catalog range than clockparts.com and i am sure I'll find what I need from one of them.

          Appreciate the help
