  • Something neat for everyone

I forwarded this info by email. If I missed you, sorry about that. Hard to find good help even when I'm the only one around.
They offer some fantastic clip art as well as other material you can purchase. They also offer enough free samples to keep you in pattern making artwork for a lifetime.
Well worth the time to investigate.

I don't know. I apparently signed up for their news letter someplace, I don't remember. Glad I did.

Are you going to share the link? Or the information on how to get to "them"?

Something is missing here, like who the supplier is. As of now that was a worthless post.
            Need more info please.
Sounds like it could be promising.

I'm going to take a stab and guess that it is Dover Publications (hope it's not against the rules to post a link to another publisher). If you sign up for their "free samples", they'll send you an email every week that most always contains sample clip-art.

I'm sure most of the old-timers here already know this but I'm posting this mainly for the new-comers. If you find a clip art or picture on the Dover site you can use it however you want but if you make a pattern with the design you aren't able to sale that pattern but can give it away for free and sale the finished piece you make from the pattern. Take if from someone that didn't know this until I almost got into some big trouble for making a pattern from a sample from them and sold the pattern. I use to have the documentation from Dover but not sure what disk or harddrive I have it on. This is just the short version of the documentation they sent me. Thought I would try and help someone from getting into a legal mess from misuse of the free clip art/picture samples they give.

I appreciate the heads up on Dover patterns and rights of use. I'd much rather know now and avoid possible problems in the future.
