  • Free Online Name Stencil Maker

    Hello

I recently made a webpage where you can generate stencils from a line of text:

    http://online.rapidresizer.com/stencil

Type in a name or other message and choose a font.

You don't have to install any software. Works on PCs and Macs.

You can adjust the spacing between letters. Using a negative spacing will make the letters overlap.

Then you can download the picture file to your computer and print it using your preferred program.

Or you can print it using Rapid Resizer Online, which will print it up to 3 pages large for free.

    Suggestions for improvements are welcome.

It seems to work pretty well. Would be nice to have some more scrollable fonts incorporated for our use though.

Can you pick a few scrollsaw-friendly fonts from
Font Squirrel | Most Downloaded Free Fonts

I can add any font from that site.

Thanks for the info Denny. When I cut acrylic I always use a skip tooth blade at a slower speed. I just did not realize that the epoxy would cut the same way as acrylic so I followed the materials list in the article.

OK folks, picture. I finally figured out how to upload a picture. Here is one each of my version of the oak and cherry boxes. Note the axle peg holding the top in place but allowing it to move.
