    Giraffe Scene and Puzzle

    I enjoy making puzzles for my Grandkids and they enjoy putting them together. My favorite puzzle designer is Dave and Judy Peterson who have published so many in the magazine and in books. The one with the Giraffe family was really cute but I decided I wanted to make it into a African Scene. I cut the Giraffes from quarter sawn Sycamore. The background is some blue pine, ash and poplar. The tree which I tried to make look like and Acacia Tree is walnut and poplar. I tried to shape things to make the puzzle scene more 3D. I enjoyed making it and the Grandkids really like it.
