Quick question. Changed Blade brands. Olson to Niqua blades. the Olson blades have the dent in the bottom of the blade. Are all blades the same. the teeth on the Niqua blades are hard to read, I having a hard time telling.

Did you try rubbing your thumb up and down the teeth of the blade? You should be able to feel the teeth grab your skin so you know which way to orient the blade so it cuts on the down stroke.

Not all blades have reverse teeth. Check what you ordered. As Martzy said a quick rub with you finger will tell you.
What blade number did you order?

The nigua reverse blades supposedly has every 3rd tooth reversed. I'll give that a try. Thanks for the help.

If those are the ultra reverse, they should have a little bump on one end. That end goes up..

What Denny said. Because the reverse teeth are interspersed, the company puts the crimp on the top to help.
Standard reverse blade are easy to tell .

So the Niqua blades are the same as the FD UR's?

The Niqua and Flying Dutchman blades are one and the same. The owner of the FD brand has been talking about this for a long time.
These are very high-quality blades, I myself use only them.

Sorry to hear that Scott. Bruce had it but I never did. And I try to isolate from Bruce whenever I can. ūü§™ We were even around our son and grandson right before they were diagnosed and nothing for us. I guess I overdid the shopping Carole. I tried to sign onto our bank tonight and it is ‚Äútemporarily...

My saw is in a severe state of depression due to alleged abandonment. We have been clearing Becky's office since her retirement. She one of the last two original occupants of that new building in 2001, so it has been a lot of trips to the recycling bin with student thesis files, convention papers and...

Whatever therapy works for you - is a good therapy. Glad your touch/retail therapy was beneficial for you Betty.

Scott, I am so sorry to ear that you and your wife have both had to fight through Covid. I hope this means that you are both on your way to healing, if a bit slowly....
