Hi guys: I have a simple question I think. when you are working on a project and you have a hole to drill but the hole itself is only 1/16" do you just drill the hole or do you pass it up? if you do drill it do you then shape it with a scroll file so that is does not look drilled?

PS does anybody do shadeing on a picture I have a picture that I would like to scroll but I am not good at shading that is why I use patterns.

Try using just your saw blade to shave the cut so that the entry hole is not so noticable. HTH

For me, it depends I guess. If the pattern shows a 1/16th inch round hole, then yes, I'd simply drill it and be done with it. If its a 1/16th inch hole, but not round, or exacting, I will use a smaller drillbit and cut it to its required shape with a blade. As for the pattern help, theres many here that will be able to help you with that Im sure,but I cant. Dale

I'm not exactly sure what it is you're looking for based on your post. If it's a pattern you need from a pic, don't hesitate to email the original pic to me at [email protected] and I'd be more than happy to try and help you out. Hopefully the original pic has enough detail/shading to put something together for you.
