Congrats on your retirement. However, you may have to go back to work to find time for sawing. Never been busier since I retired.

Thanks, all! Your well wishes make me feel more at home here in the forums than I already did.

As many of you implied, I will definitely be busier now than I ever was. I just won't snarl as much. I just got done downloading GIMP (reportedly an inexpensive PhotoShop look-alike), and I ordered PSP X ($24, e-bay) and one of Rick Hutchenson's scrolling fonts. I've got some great wood, some great patterns, and when my new DW788 gets here ... WATCH OUT!! (lol - tongue in cheek).

And like I said, scrolling's just one of my passions.

    Thanks again, all!

Just don't cough up sawdust in your sleep, Kevin.

Congratulations at sticking it out at one job for all those years. I can't imagine what that would be like. I've had over 50, but who's counting.
I don't stay satisfied very long.

    Enjoy your retirement.

    Congratulations Kevin

Having been retired for 7.5 years, following and joyful a 34 year career of public school teaching, I fully understand your happiness. Just remember, you had more free time when you were working and retirement is not for the lazy or the faint of heart. Best if luck and keep scrolling.
