Daryl, I have used this for several applications and it is very nice indeed. The one I used was the metal pewter finish.
I'll post a few pics of the differnt items I used it on.
Here is a gnome door I used it with:

Kerry, hasn't anyone told you that gnomes turn into stone in bright light? That's why you only come across them at night.
Poor little gnome. There he was, strumming away quite happily and minding his own business when this human comes lumbering along and catches him unaware with flash photography. If it happens again, you'll have Hermione Grainger to answer to.

Gnomes are good luck. Everyone should have them in their garden.

LOL What a great thread! I like your stuff, Kerry, and the effect of that product (what's the name of it?). Pewter is another of my favorite materials (along with wood and glass).
I have a few gargoyles and wizards around the house, too. I may have had some gnomes at one time, too, but where'd they go? Maybe if I'd used a UV blocker on them.
And if Hermione doesn't get 'ya, I'll sic Gandalf on you.Kevin

I built my own CNC router and used a full size router. Those little machines don't have enough travel in the Z axis for adding the 4th axis fixture. At some point round stock will enter into the equation so you need to have room for the rotary fixture.-
