Re: Fishy Little Scrollsawed Puzzle Box
I can't post anymore under 'gudrun', it tells me that somebody is already using that name.....well, duh!
Anyway, Bill, thanks for your suggestion. I've checked the on-line catalog of our local library consortium (the three larger libraries in the area) and they have Wood Magazine between now and October 2001 but not before.
This pattern is not important enough for you to go to any trouble finding an issue!!! But thank you for offering.
(I just got the Diana Thompson compound cutting book and a book on making bandsaw boxes, that should keep me busy for a while. )

Re: Fishy Little Scrollsawed Puzzle Box
Bill, I really like that little box. My husband has several years' worth of issues of Wood Magazine, but not as far back as October 1994. I went to their site to see if back issues could be ordered or if there was a way to contact them and couldn't find either one.
Do you have any suggestions?
Gudrun
The plans for the box are in the Oct 1994 issue of Wood magazine. I made a few boxes and messed them all up. then I went out to the internet and got some clues as th what I was doing wrong. I finally made one that came out
So sorry for your loss. 🙏🙏. Fox Chapel Publishing has a number of books written by Diana Thompson. In my opinion she was the queen of compound designer. Ironically she passed away a couple years ago.
