Both of these books are great. The latter, "Compound Scroll Saw Creations" has many Compound Clocks. I put the other on in there because of the wood you mentioned. I'm making mother-day presents for our church and doing the humming bird/rocker/clock in Aromatic Cedar which looks great.

Jealous, you and I. Around here the only thing you find is pine and cheap plywood. When I go to the big city then I find a little more but still not a lot and very expensive.
I am going for a seminar at LeeValley in Ottawa next wednesday and will be checking out this place in Clarence Creek. Suppose to be good and have sales. Might find something nice for the Aries Mask there.
Limited in spending so I hope they have cheap small pieces.

The clock 3M posted is called the "Nells Weston" it's a Diane Thompson design and it's featured in issue # 12 of Scroll Saw Workshop Magazine.
Diane's book "Compound Creations for the Scroll Saw" has several different clocks in it.

Reply to FInished Productby jim_mexHi Tony - I built a wedgie sledge pretty much immediately after you first mentioned it. It worked fine within the capabilities of my homebuilt table saw but I quickly realized that to get the best out of it I needed a new saw, hence my recent acquisition.
The videos are also on Jerry Bennet's...-

Reply to The St-Nicolas sheriffby jim_mexHi planeur - thanks for the reply.
Just to be clear. I wasn't suggesting that you change your original sheriff, rather that you apply some of the ideas for future projects. Nevertheless you can see the difference in the modified version
I can definitely see in your Heron that...-

Reply to My lucky day!by handibunnyGlad to hear it, Rolf. It shouldn’t be so harrowing just trying to do the right thing, but good that you didn’t give up.
