                    Re: Whats Happening

Doesn't anyone put anything new in the bragging page around here? This has to be one of the deadest scrollers site around. For a magazine that is scrollsaw oriented you would think they would try for more input or participation. Nothing is done to promote this site. I guess some just like it this way. Then you ask what is happening? To sum it up nothing, nothing and more of nothing!!!!

                      Re: Whats Happening

It is a carvers site (Carving World) with scrollsawing only as a sub directory.
It seems the carvers want to keep it is as 'their' site and for use only for their own little clique whenever the spirit moves them.

Guess you guys are not as busy as the rest of us. Get busy and Cut something out and put it on the Brag page. AAt 95 degress and heat index of 102 I stay where the cool air is and carve. But do have some scroll saw projects in the works.

Mr. Clockman. Where would a person find the bragging page that you refer to. Maybe not very many know where it is. I have never found it yet.

                            To answer your question http://www.scrollsawer.com/scrollerscorner.htm

This is the site to get here. The carvers have a magazine of their own but the message board is shared by both magazines in contrary to what some believe. When you click on the the above site there is a listing of things and the bragging board is one of them and I have yet to see things added to that. I think being we can no longer post photos within our message because of some it may be nice if we post photos in the bragging page and maybe this will spark some conversation like it usually does on other forums. I don't mean to ruffel feathers but it just seems this site is so dead for it being sponsored by a scrollsawing magazine. I may be wrong in this form of thinking but it was worth a shot.

Thank you Mr.Clockman for the link. No wonder there are not many in there with the rigamarole one must endure to get one posted.

So many are selling them here it’s not worth us making them. However, we do very well with our dough boards. Nobody else makes them. We have an order for a dough board and matching pepper grinder. The walnut board I could make into a beautiful basket or two and sell for lots more than they are getting...

Jim, if you scroll down to the bottom of the page, on the left you’ll find some style options that change the font size and color. I’ve been using Defalt vB5 Style, and it seems to be about the best for my iPad, but I’m still experimenting with my iMac.
