  • I'm looking for headband magnifier recommendations

I will probably soon be getting some sort of head mounted magnifcation. I've done some searching on the web and find a very wide array of features and prices.

I will use it for scroll sawing, turning tool sharpening and general fix-it work.

    I wear glasses.

Can you recommend a model and a source?

    Thanks,

    Clem

    Hello Clem,
I've dealt with this company several times, all with good results.

Grizzly is another good source, http://www.grizzly.com/products/h1131
    Hope these help.
I've used head band magnifiers before and also wear glass's, but I have ended up purchasing an adjustable lamp/magnifier which serves my purposes best, something like this one. http://www.ares-server.com/Ares/Ares...oduct&ID=24101

        Clem,
I bought a pair of MAG EYES from Hobby Lobby. I tried a magnifying light but I could not get use to it made it look distorted to me. The mag eyes on the other hand brought the pattern lines in focus without any distortion, they come attached to a band and work well and are very comfortable.

Do any of those headbands work with a dust mask?
