Hello Tim, check out this book it is by Neal Moore.
There are several other books available but this one is the latest and is very good.
You might want to check out this link also I know I was amazed at the segmentation projects that Kerry produces.

Sue and Toni have some really neat and different kinds of segmentation projects on their site as well. As a matter of fact, the only segmentation I've done was one of theirs.
        Ooops, forgot the link.

Just bought 3 books on hopefully they'll assist in getting me started in segmentation patterns etc.

I'm working on finishing up a fretwork pattern (family portrait for a friend for a gift for his daughter.) once thats finished and a few christmas gifts for me to hand out personally, I'll have more time to devote to segmentations and all. But im working on the research end at the moment, so keep all your suggestions / advice comming for this topic. Your help is greatly appriciated.

Thanks again for any and all help,

Most intarsia patterns can also be cut out as segmentation. Just ignore the arrows and watch how you lay it out.

Tim - I found a few patterns under stained glass patterns-- some are really nice and I am anxious to test them
