  • Scrolling shows

    Hi everyone,
I'm putting together my travel budget for the next fiscal year and am planning on going to several carving shows, but are there any major scrolling shows I should plan for?

    Thanks in advance...

The Pennsylvania Picnic is always a great event.

      Re: Scrolling shows

That is, of course, on my list, since it takes place about 20 minutes from my house (I live in Annville, essentially a suburb of Lebanon if there is one). Since it is so close, I don't really need to add that to my budget...it costs me less in gas to drive there than it does to drive to work

There is a Scroll Saw Picnic in Richland Center, Wisconsin, on August 6th. Last year close to 1000 people attended.

When is the Lebanon Picnic and does anyone have any details. I have an Uncle who lives near Ephrata who has been after me to visit. Might be a good weekend for pulling a double. I am from NY so I would need a place to stay anyways. Hmmm.........travel Friday.............Picnic on Saturday............Golf on sunday...............sounds like an action packed weekend!!! Maybe I can hook up with you guy(s). Would be nice to put a face to a name.

Well I'll be there!! At PA, that is, not Wisconsin, although I would LOVE to go there just because! Anyway, we should make a time and place to meet, just remember I'm a SHE and not a HE! LOL And if any of you are going to the Baltimore Woodworking show this week-end at Timonium Fairgrounds, I'll be there also! Hubby is there today "scoping" it out! Actually, he just wanted an excuse to take the day off work!!

I'll just have to see when it is before I can make a decision on getting there.
