  • pocket knife handle

A young guy at church had a pocket knife that had a broken handle on one side and the other side was coming off. He asked me if I could make him something to fix it.
This is my fix. The handles are the same shape and size as the previous ones. They are made from mesquite.

Good job Stephen. I know he was more than satisfied with that.

That is an unusual type of handle, & you did a fine job fixing up a new one. Very nice. I'm sure your friend loved it. Thanks for showing us.

Thanks for the kind comments. I will give it to him Sunday before church. A few of us fellers talk hunting, shooting, woordworking, knife making and other stuff before church. Show off stuff too. It's fun.

Jo, that is a work of art. With Norwegian heritage, I really appreciate that piece.

Hi Betty - you surely have one heck of a lot of patience in dealing with Bruce!!!

The important thing is that he appears to be heading in the right direction and hopefully it won't be too much longer before you can both put these issues behind you. And once he's recovered with your invaluable...

Back 2 steps. He had to have a spot cut off his back for biopsy and the dr. had to go deep, needed stitches inside and outside, so no exercises for 2 weeks until stitches are out. He sure is high maintenance!

            Beautiful inspiring work Tony!

Glad to hear that the Kobalt saw worked out very well.

FYI - I took delivery last week of a SKILSAW 8 1/4" blade portable table saw to assist in cutting pieces for segmented bowl work which I was very pleased to find out of the box was set...
