How long does mail take going to New Zealand? Want to make sure the package gets there before Christmas.

Is that for just BobD or for everyone?

Bob, have you mailed out last year's yet?

I don't think I'll make it if was two months ago. Guess I best get busy, busy, busy. Even the folks in Canada will take a bit to get there.

I've got them all cut already, so I've got to put some finish on them, and I'll send them all out en-masse!

                No fear needed!

I think most of the references were to the fact that I still haven't sent out last year's ornaments <GRIN>

An economy shipped package to New Zealand can take from 4 to 6 weeks. I just mailed a package there earlier this week. If you spend a couple dollars, you can go with the quicker ship methods, which also helps reduce the chances of breakage.I plan on sending out shortly after Thanksgiving, unless someone really really wants it sooner. Last year, because of fragilities, I wrapped mine inside two layers of BB ply, because any amount of bending it had, would have made it into designer toothpicks.I do think one person did recieve one from me that got broken in shipping regardless of my efforts to protect it.I think most were sent in bubble envelopes with a piece of stiff cardboard protecting it if my memory is still working. This years wont be quite so fragile from me , so I dont think they should be a problem.Also... when shipping to NZ (I think Canada too)you will fill out a customs form, and its best to mark it as no value, or very little value , and tag it as 'gift', or 'Christmas ornament'.Only we will know the ornament is truly priceless! Take it to your post office and they can help with the customs form, thats what we pay them for! This chart is robbed off of www.usps.com site. dale

Thanks Dale, for the information on mailing our ornaments, it will be very helpful when the time comes. I better re-think my time line, cause I'm not as rich as minnesota scroller and can't send mine Global Express.
I am very excited and can't wait till the ornaments start to arrive, so mail mine tomorrow, will ya Dale!

First, let me say those are beautiful! Second, I can tell you that on the Facebook laser forums those people have been hunting for sources on cutting and charcuterie boards to laser engrave various personalizations onto. Some are willing to pay for quality and the finished pieces show it. Others...

A custom order for the "Wedding Rings" designer unknown. I used 1/2" solid Cherry and cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #1 and #3 MGT blades. After sanding with a Mac Mop sprayed with 2 coats MinWax Lacquer Clear Gloss sanding between coats. Comments welcome.

If you are talking about their microlux, that is the same as the little proxxon saw, and it is the absolute worse scrollsaw I've ever used. They also have a 16" (the saw rebranded a thousand times) which is also a distant second in the running for worst designed saws ever.
