Spiral Candlesticks

Has anyone tried this if so give some me some input. one thing they say you must use Spiral Blade on have not done this from i have heard tough to use spial blade any help or info Thanks

When you rotate the wood, the blade cuts in different directions. Spiral is the only way to do this. Cutting the line smoothly takes some practice. I have to do a lot of sanding to get rid of my jitters. This kind of cutting is a lot of fun, good luck

I made some a few years ago when they had the instruction in one of the magazines. The are funb to make but need a ton of sanding after cutting. I have a picture of them on my etsy site.

I also have made one and like previously said it does require a lot of sanding. A good hint is that once you start the cut do not stop or hesitate till you finsh the cut. I found that does reduce the jitters.
