Hi Everyone. I am in the UK and have bee looking on e-bay. There is a Delta 40-500 scroll saw on there and the seller says it has variable speed. I am not familiar with this saw so could you guys tell me if it is a decent saw. I would like to know if possible what the speed range is. Looking at the picture it has quick release blade clamps and a quick tension lever. It has only been used a few times and the guy is selling it due to ill health. Many thanks.

by RolfI periodically get asked if I am still making the kits. The answer is yes.
I get a private message on the forum to which I reply but suspect new people to the forum don't check for a response.
So please, if you have sent me a PM check for a response.-

When we were younger (2005) we used to bring our saws to our club meeting in an old barn with wooden floors. The seasoned scrollers all had Hegners. The rest...-
