  • Cardinals & Another Razorback Bench

Made the Cardinal bench for my best friend of thirty years and this is my second Razorback bench of three that I'm planing on making . This Razorback bench is for my brother-in-law that helped me build my shop 9 years ago . The benches were given to me from a Local Funeral Home that was remodeling and told me they didn't want to see them in a flea markets or see them sold . I had no problem with just re-finishing them and adding something different to them for family members . I am retireing from messing with them after the last two are finished , and of course I'm making me a Razorback one for myself too . Any comments are welcomed .............MB

Thanks Jim , when I took on these projects - I was just going to do just one . But then when the first Razorback turned out so well - well I just wanted to do more and after these two are delivered Saturday I just have two more and I am hanging it up - and going back to just scroll-work .............thanks again for your comment ........MB

It was a challenge that’s for sure. I didn’t start anything until I was all finished. It’s nice to have a clean area to work in! My biggest challenge was all those pieces of scrap wood that I just might need “someday.” They burned well in my son’s woodstove. And I did get through all the patterns....

Wow - Betty, what do you charge. I have things to do and I'm in the process of cleaning my shop, just to have room to do it. My problem is that I get the work bench cleared and then start working on projects again. I really need to do the workbench last.

I ordered and received the ORTUR Laser Master 2 from Amazon, the but haven't had a chance to even get it out of the box. Too much going
on right now. I got the 20 watt version, which is supposed to be good for cutting, but I don't think I'll be doing much of that. There will be a learning curve...

Rick---if you are looking for a fretwork piece perhaps you could take 2 patterns and merge them into 1....
