    Thanks all. I will pass your compliments on to her. She asked to learn how to scroll and I began teaching her last summer. Now she scrolls something each time she stays with us for a day or two or longer.

    granddaughter's valentine cutting

    My granddaughter cut this out, sanded it, and painted it for her mom and dad for Valentine's day. Blue is dad's and black is mom's favorite color. The red represents her. It is 3/4" straight grained pine and she used a #5 RT blade. The original pattern is by Bagetta and posted here a few weeks ago. Please forgive me Bagetta, but I enlarged it to 140% and added the clock cutout instead of the open heart of the original to make it a bit easier for her to cut and paint. The final size is about 6" tall by 14" long.
