  • My first project on the scrollsaw

    Hello all,

Here's a Combat Infantry Badge that I made using the cheap whitewood at Lowe's, some stain, and a little bit of time on my Porter Cable 16 inch. This is the very first project that I made using the scroll saw. I'm curious to know what you all think and welcome any advice.

I can't wait to get back to my scrollsaw. Afghanistan has kept me away for far too long.

Pattern from the US Army Institute of Heraldry

I got the pattern from the US Army Institute of Heraldry. I also Googled CIB and kinda meshed both patterns together.

Thanks for the advice Linda, I may have to do that. The future bride and groom are avid golfers so I would like to do something special for them. Also I am Godfather to the bride and I'm very humbled that she asked me to do this for her.
